Studio 101 will be closed from June 6 - 18 to prepare for our 2021 summer exhibit featuring modern pop art, prepare for classes and host private events. We will reopen on Saturday, June 19 to debut the new summer gallery installation.

The TRWD Trinity Trails Mural Gallery

 

“Be Inspired to Seek Adventure” 

 

Studio 101 Gallery and Gatherings is very excited for this adventure and is honored to be the host of the first mural gallery, “Painting the River” sponsored by Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD). Throughout the past seven months, 25 artists have participated in an ambitious effort to create a museum quality mural gallery on the Trinity Trails. Spanning over 12 miles, utilitarian concrete structures were translated into beautiful, chance encounters along the trail. Studio 101 will showcase these artists and their work by transforming the gallery to mirror Trinity Trails from March 27 - June 12, 2021. Bringing the outside in, Studio 101 will provide a unique, immersive environment for those who wish to experience the mural gallery in its entirety or learn more about the artists themselves. It will also serve those who desire to see murals but have limited access to the trails.
